In 1955, Founder, Alyce Hamm, a native of Alsace-Lorraine, France, emigrated to the United States from France, where she trained in Parisian couture and costume design at the prestigious Paris Ecole de Couture. Alyce Designs was founded in 1967 with her brother. Today, The baton has passed to her niece, Claudine Hamm.
